The 2019 Mint Lamb Competition – Taste Test, will be held on Wednesday 13 November in the Sheep Exhibitors Club at 4.30pm.
This year the lamb’s will be allocated classes based on their “carcass weights” and not the breed of lamb as it has been in the past.
The Mint Lamb Competition aims to promote the quality and variety of lamb available in the South Island, increasing consumption while providing an opportunity for individual farmers to be recognised for the superior product they produce.
Entries close on Wednesday 23rd October 2019.

The New Zealand Agricultural Show is run by the Canterbury A&P Association.
The Canterbury A&P Association is a membership based organisation, which celebrated 150 years in 2012. The Association's mission is to further the progress of agriculture in Canterbury and New Zealand, through the annual New Zealand Agricultural Show.
